Can I tell you how much I love the month of October? The cool weather, football, pumpkins, comfort food, sweaters, halloween candy, food festivals and so much more.   There was so much packed into October 2019 that it is starting to run together. So I wanted to take the time to share some of the highlights.

Have you heard of the Greek Food Festival? It was the first weekend in October this year and it is an event that I look forward to every year. You can get souvenirs that will spark your wanderlust for Greece (One of the most beautiful places in the world. Can’t wait to tell you about my trip there soon.) and taste some of the best Greek food around.  Look for the 2020 dates and check it out next year. I promise you it is a must do if you make to Birmingham, Alabama in October.

The next week, I celebrated my B’day at the Taste of Hoover and it did not disappoint.  The atmosphere was enchanting at Aldridge Gardens in Hoover and the restaurants did an amazing job with their setups. There were so many tasty treats and all that you could eat. I met so great people and enjoyed music by the Birmingham Heritage Band. This is an event I will be making it back to year after year. The night didn’t end there. I won tickets to the Andy Grammar concert in Iron City and he did not disappoint.

Then at the end of the month, I sailed away with Disney to the Mexican Rivera. It was so relaxing and jam packed. From deck parties, to dolphin encounters, spa days and so much more, it was fantastic. Plus, I celebrated Halloween with Mickey and friends! And planned the costumes for weeks.

I loved every minute of this whirlwind of a month and can’t wait to share more about these great events. But I am also looking forward to slowing down a little this month and taking a break before the hustle and bustle of the holidays takes hold.
